Explore alumina rings, insulators and custom parts. Material grade, component geometry and the service environment should be reviewed together, particularly where the part provides electrical separation or fits a mating assembly.
Choosing an alumina component
- Material requirement. Name the specified alumina grade or share the existing material record. Include temperature and any contact media.
- Drawing details. For rings and insulators, mark the bore, outer diameter, thickness and locating faces, with tolerances only where required.
- Acceptance conditions. Describe the required finish and inspection. Electrical performance requirements should include the intended test conditions.
