Alumina (Al₂O₃) Ceramic Rings & Insulators - customizable

Product Features and Brief Description
We manufacture precision **alumina ceramic** components used as insulators, valve seats, and wear-resistant rings. Available in  ≥95%  and ≥99.5%  grades with CNC machining, tight tolerances and scalable volume output to meet engineering and procurement requirements.
Material: Alumina (Al₂O₃)
Processing: CNC / Precision Grinding
Use: High‑temp / High‑wear / Electrical Insulation
Why choose these alumina components?
High dielectric strength — dense, fully sintered Al₂O₃ offers stable insulation for electrical and high-voltage applications.
Wear & corrosion resistance — ceramic rings reduce metal-to-metal wear in valves and pumps when exposed to abrasive media.
Thermal stability — usable at temperatures up to ~1600°C in short-term exposures depending on system design.
Precision tolerances — typical CNC tolerance ±0.05 mm; achievable tighter tolerances after process review.
Product Description

Technical specification (typical ranges)

PropertyTypical / Range
MaterialAlumina (Al₂O₃), grades: ≥95% / ≥99.5%
Density~3.6 – 3.9 g/cm³ (dependent on grade & sintering)
Porosity<0.5% (dense sintered)
Flexural strength120 – 350 MPa (geometry & process dependent)
Hardness (Vickers)≈1300 – 2000 HV
Maximum continuous temp.Up to 1600°C (application dependent)
Dielectric strength~10 – 15 kV/mm (dense samples)
Typical tolerance±0.05 mm (negotiable)

Note: values above are process‑dependent. We supply full test reports on request (dimensions, density, dielectric & mechanical tests) for procurement approval.

Manufacturing & quality control

Production combines high‑quality alumina powders, pressing or injection/gelcasting for complex shapes, followed by controlled sintering and precision finishing (CNC drilling, turning, lapping). Every batch undergoes 100% visual inspection and sampling-based dimensional and property verification. Third‑party testing can be arranged per purchase order.

Typical applications

  • Valve seats and sealing rings in pumps handling abrasive or corrosive fluids.
  • Insulating rings and spacers in high-voltage and power equipment.
  • Wear-resistant components in mechanical seals and high-temperature bearings.
  • Positioning & support rings in semiconductor and precision equipment.
