Some separate electrical conductors, while others provide a deliberately engineered response to an electric field or another operating condition. Geometry and environment remain part of the design. <a href=\"https:\/\/global.kyocera.com\/prdct\/fc\/material-property\/property\/insulation\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kyocera\u2019s electrical-insulation overview<\/a> distinguishes insulating ceramics from ceramics with other electrical behaviour. For a practical example, <a href=\"\/ko\/%ec%97%b4%ec%a0%84%eb%8c%80-%ec%84%b8%eb%9d%bc%eb%af%b9-%ec%a0%88%ec%97%b0%ec%b2%b4-%ec%a0%84%ea%b8%b0-%ec%84%b8%eb%9d%bc%eb%af%b9-%ec%a0%9c%ed%92%88\/\">thermocouple insulators<\/a> separate conductors inside a sensor assembly.<\/p>\n<h2>Dielectric and piezoelectric functions<\/h2>\n<p>Dielectric behaviour concerns a material\u2019s response to an electric field. Piezoelectric components connect electrical and mechanical behaviour. Their specification needs to identify the intended function and operating conditions; they are not interchangeable simply because both appear in electronic equipment. That use does not automatically make the ceramic a semiconducting material. Specify the installation role, material and acceptance requirements directly.<\/p>\n<h2>Describe the electrical requirement in an enquiry<\/h2>\n<p>State voltage or signal conditions, temperature, frequency where relevant, interfaces and the required test.
